Stripping your sleeves…

When I was two or three years old, my sister took a brick to my face. I don’t know why anyone would do that to a young boy, I just know I bled profusely from right above the eye while the perpetrator screamed a lot and tried to make the whole thing about her. Being involved in youth ministry is one of the most phenomenal blessings I’ve ever known. Having the opportunity to come alongside the next generation is an amazing privilege; ask any of the youth leaders at our church and I’m sure they’ll say the same thing. It may be our job to encourage and build into the youth, but so often we leave encouraged, challenged and inspired ourselves.
